PrivyMesh, The V Profile Mesh System With Timber Slat Infill For Privacy at a Local Primary School & Nursery

In today's world, the safety of children in educational settings is critical. During the recent school holidays, we had the chance to engage in a meaningful project at a local primary school and nursery. Our mission was to install a state-of-the-art V profile mesh system with timber slatted infill. This security fence not only protects the students but also enhances privacy, creating a nurturing environment for young learners.

The Need for Enhanced Security

Young children's learning and play environments heavily influence their development. With security concerns increasing in many communities, schools are prioritising robust safety measures.

Many primary schools and nurseries struggle to balance security with a welcoming atmosphere. Our project directly addressed this issue, ensuring that the school remains safe while still feeling open and inviting to children and staff.

PrivyMesh panels combine the visual appeal of natural wood with the strength and security of steel.

These robust welded mesh fence panels and matching gates provide the advantage of a flat facing surface with no hand or foot holds, and closely spaced slats for privacy.

Treated slats are held in place by sturdy top and bottom rails, and steel posts are timber clad.

Heights: 1870, 2070, 2470, 3170mm

Post centres: 3054mm

Timber slats: 40x17mm

Post dimensions: 80x60mm for all heights up to 2470; 120x60mm for 3170mm height.

Finish

Steel posts and mesh panels are galvanized as standard.

Steel elements are powder coated in standard Black RAL 9005 or Green RAL 6005. Other colours are available.

Timber slats are treated. Slats are made from softwood that is kiln dried before being vacuum pressure treated.

Guarantee

PrivyMesh Combi has a 25-year Service Life Guarantee on steel, and 15 or 25 years treatment life on timber.
