Barnhurst Pitches Wolverhmpton City Council – Combination Height Restriction Barrier

The Challenge

Wolverhampton City Council needed a reliable way to prevent unauthorised vehicles from entering their car park — particularly oversized vans that were repeatedly misusing the space.

The entrance to the car park required a durable, low-maintenance barrier system that would restrict access without disrupting daily use for park users.

How They Found Us

Secure A Fence have worked alongside Wolverhampton City Council for many years installing barriers/gates and fencing to their local parks and play areas.

They were drawn to our proven track record in supplying tough, made-to-measure height restriction and combination barriers, all engineered and built in the West Midlands.

Our Solution

We designed, manufactured, and installed a bespoke combination height restriction barrier, finished in white to enhance site safety.

The dual-leaf design allows full-width access when required, while maintaining a 2.1m maximum headroom clearance to prevent entry from taller or unauthorised vehicles.

Built from heavy-duty galvanised steel and powder-coated for corrosion protection, the barrier provides long-lasting strength, minimal maintenance, and exceptional weather resistance.

The Outcome

Since installation, the barrier has secured the car park and completely stopped unauthorised vehicle access — all while allowing smooth entry for permitted users.

The system’s professional, high-visibility finish has also improved overall site safety and appearance, giving the hotel’s management total peace of mind with a robust, UK-made access control solution designed to last.
