Project Brief
Project Brief

Wolverhampton City Council approached Secure A Fence with a clear goal – to enhance the safety and functionality of their football pitch by installing high ball-stop fencing behind each back goal. The objective was to reduce the number of balls leaving the pitch area and improve overall site safety for both players and spectators.

Our Solution

After a site assessment and consultation with the council, we installed a 3-metre-high twin-wire mesh fencing system and a 6.0m high to the one end of the field that backs onto local houses. The green powder-coated finish blends seamlessly with the surroundings and provides long-term durability against the elements. This type of fencing is ideal for sports grounds as it is robust, low-maintenance, and will withstand regular ball impact.

Key Features

6m high 868 twin-wire mesh fencing Heavy-duty steel posts Powder-coated in green for aesthetics and corrosion resistance Installed with precision to ensure maximum stability and alignment

Result

The result is a professional, secure, and visually discreet fencing solution that meets the club’s needs while maintaining the natural appeal of the surrounding environment. The new fencing has already made a noticeable difference in keeping the balls within the playing area, much to the satisfaction of the club and its players.
